Original Description [Translation from the Russian.- Test strongly thickened; dorsally there are four small chambers in the first whorl; the second and the third whorls have five semispherical and other shaped chambers each. Chambers of the last (third) whorl are elongate from the periphery. Ventrally, the last two chambers strongly project upon the surface.
Test very inflated, strongly thickened, chambers situated along the rapidly coiling spiral, lending a very strong convexity to the dorsal side. Ventral side beveled. Dorsally, following the initial chamber there are three whorls: The first whorl has four barely discernible chambers; the second and third have five chambers each. The chambers of the last whorl are elongate. Ventrally, around the wide and deep umbilicus, there are five elongate chambers, of which the last two sharply project on the surface flanking the umbilicus. Septal sutures strongly depressed, narrow, nearly straight. Aperture slitlike, in the last chamber, opening on the umbilical side.
