Original Description Translation from the Russian. - Diagnosis. Highly conical Globoconusa, with three chambers in the last whorl. Description. - Test small, in cross section trilobate, its height is nearly equal to or greater than its diameter. Initial end tapered, apertural end broadly rounded. Test formed by two whorls, rapidly increasing in size. In the last whorl are three spherical chambers. Sutures depressed, straight. Aperture marginal, slitlike. Wall thin, finely perforate. Surface covered with very small fine spines. Size: Holotype - Diameter 0.13mm, height 0.11mm. Etymology: Extra details from original publication Variation and remarks. -Test dimensions and the ratio of height to diameter vary over small limits. In the populations tests with an acute initial end which evidently belong to the rnicrospheric generation usually predominate, but occasionally specimens are found with a blunt initial end (megalospheric generation?). The last whorl sometimes has 3½ chambers.
Comparison. - From G. daubjergensis (Bronnimann) [Globigerina daubjergensis, 1953] this species differs by having fewer chambers in the last whorl and a trilobate test cross section. Also found commonly in the Crimea, the Caucasus, and at Kizilcheshme, Kyuren-Dag, Turkmenistan; and sparsely at Tezheva, central Kopet-Dag, and Shamli and Manysh, Gyaurs-Dag, all in Turkmenistan.
