Original Description

Test planoconvex, pyramidal; spiral side strongly convex; umbilical side concave; test formed by about three whorls; peripheral margin subcircular, strongly lobulate, provided with an imperforate peripheral band; last whorl formed by generally five imbricated chambers increasing gradually in size as added; chambers petalloid on both spiral and umbilical sides, weakly inflated. Sutures depressed, radial on both spiral and umbilical sides. Umbilicus wide and shallow; umbilical tegilla broken in all of the specimens.
