Original Description

Translated from Russian: Test small, trochospiral, consists of two whorls. 4 chambers in an inner whorl, 3-4 chambers in the last whorl. The chambers are closely packed in an inner whorl, and become less compact in the last whorl. Periphery widely rounded. Contour lobate. Sutures slightly depressed and slightly curved. Aperture umbilical with thin lip. Test calcareous, finely porous. Pores are of two types: small and dense (0.4 - 1 microns) and large up to 5 microns. Surface covered with pustules and cells. Cells are irregular and spread everywhere.

Holotype measures: D1 0.19 mm, D2 0.14 mm, H 0.1 mm, compressing index D1 : H 1.9. Varies in compression index (2.0 ->1.7), in size of an inner whorl which is usually not more that ⅓ D1, although sometimes it reaches to a half of D1, and in having additional small chambers (1-2) on the umbilical sides of some specimens, covering an aperture and umbilicus.

Gradstein et al. (2017) consider it likely "that if good material was available these obscure taxa would be synonymized under better documented species".
