Original Description

"Test rapidly flaring in juvenile stage, less flaring in adult, adult chambers subglobular to reniform; early chambers covered with coarse, irregular ridges, later chambers more finely costate; early periphery keeled or subangular, later subrounded; relict apertural flanges visible as depressed areas along median suture."
