Original Description
Test small to moderately large, biserial with five to eight pairs of chambers. Wall calcareous, perforate, ornamented with discontinuous faint costae. Chambers globular, increasing very slowly in size. Sutures depressed, triangular depressions at the junction with the medial suture in larger specimens. Aperture a high arch at the base of the last chamber bordered by a thin lip.
