Original Description
"Test large, biserial, expanding rapidly from initial end. Chambers 14-15 in number, inflated, subspherical. Wall very finely perforate. Pores restricted to single intercostal rows. Costae fine to moderate in strength, very numerous. Primary aperture a low, interiomarginal arch. Accessory apertures overlying previous chambers, adjacent to but not in the median line. Accessory apertures covered by wide, imperforate flaps. Sutures straight, and oblique to convex toward the aperture."
