The test has peripheral carina developed on the last chambers, but earlier ones are also acute peripherally. On the spiral side, chambers of the last whorl are two to three times higher than those of the penultimate whorl. The surface is smooth, without muricae or spines, but may have scattered pustules. The aperture is a low umbilical–extraumbilical slit, and it is not elongated digitally in the terminal face.
