Current identification/main database link: Anaticinella planoconvexa (Longoria 1973)
Same features as in the genus. Test large, planoconvex, umbilical side flattened, spiral side strongly convex; formed by about three whorls; peripheral margin ovate; five to six chambers in the last whorl, increasing gradually in size as added; chambers petalloid to trapezoidal on spiral side, ovoid to sub-rectangular on umbilical side; sutures radial, straight and depressed on both spiral and umbilical side; primary aperture umbilical to extra-umbilical, bordered by wide imperforate portici, infra-laminal apertures visible at the base of the sutures; umbilicus partially covered by the umbilical cover-plate; surface of the test covered by numerous pustules. Pseudoticinella planoconvexa is abundant in the material studied, about 60 specimens were analyzed. P. planoconvexa differs from P. multiloculata (Morrow) [Globorotalia? multiloculata, 1934] 1) by its strongly convex spiral side; 2) by having less chambers in the last whorl, five to six instead of six to eight; and 3) by having sub-rectangular rather than subtriangular chambers in the last whorl.
