Original Description

Test with the early chambers as in Globigerina, with the wall cancellated and apparently with spines, later with the chambers coarsely perforate, but smooth, except about the aperture, and the chambers involute, the last three or four forming the outer surface of the test, without spines in the adult, aperture elongate, arched.
