Original description: Diagnosis: Schale biserial gebaut, in jeder Reihe etwa 5—7 Kammerchen. Suturlinien limbat, mit verlängerten Verzierungen versehen. Mundung halbkreisíormig auf der Basis der letzten Kammer.

Description: Schale kalkig, ganz gebaut; Kammerchen von beiden Seiten zusammengedruckt; Septen limbat, gebogen und uber die Skulptúr der Kammerchen stark emporragend. Mehr als 2/3 der Schale ist durch verlängerte stumpfe (abgerundete) Knollen verziert. Am Rande der letzteren zwei alternierenden Kammerchen sind „Säume", zwischen welchen die oberen Kammerwände in Form von kleinen Kehlen vertieft sind. Die Mundung ist halbkreisíormig an der Basis der letzten Kammer.

Emended description:

Test biserial throughout; chambers gradually increasing in size when added. Shoulder of each chamber bordered by two imperforate rims, one on each side of the test, that in older chambers appear as limbate, beaded sutures. Surface in between sutures smooth, with scattered medium sized pores. Aperture bordered by a rim. [copied from Chronos database]
