Entries in the Catalog of original descriptions: Guembelina deflaensis, Guembelina conjakica, Guembelina malocaucasica, Gublerina primitiva

Emended description:

Salaj and Samuel, 1963, op. cit., p. 105. (Translation from the Slovak). Test calcareous, biserial for its whole length, 5 to 7 chambers in each row. Chambers on both side compressed and peripherally embracing. Sutures limbate and in well developed individuals gently rise above the surface of the chambers or are on the same plane with them. Test surface can be decorated with delicate striations, which are well visible especially in the proximal part of the test, in the distal part only at great magnification, or fade out completely. Aperture semicircular, at the base of the last chamber. Height 0.29-0.34 mm., width 0.16-0.24 mm., thickness 0.07-0.10 mm. Original description written in French in Ellis and Messina. REMARKS: description emended by Salaj and Samuel 1963. [copied from Chronos database]
