Original Description
Ist in den Kreidegebilden Westphalens sehr verbreitet. Ich fand dieselbe in den oberen Senonmergeln des Hilgenberges, Herrensteinberges und Kurkenberges bei Hamm und von Dolberg bei Beckum; in den unteren Senongebilden von Hamm, vom Rhynerberg, von Ostheide, Flierich, Haustenbeek, Bergcamen, Uedinghoff; im Plane rvon Unna und Rheine. Gewiss kömmt sie noch an vielen Orten vor. — Ebenso entdeckte ich sie schon früher in den Bakuliten- thonen von Luschitz, Brozan u. a. O., so wie im Planer Böhmens; in dem Kreidemergel vor dem Clever Thore von Hannover.

T. globifera Reuss, 1860 is a nomen novum of T. globulosa Reuss, 1845 [not Ehrenberg, 1840]. (also synonyms?)
