Original description: Small, biconvex; test as with genus; formed by about three whorls; peripheral margin elliptical, lobate; five to six chambers in the last whorl, increasing gradually in size as added; first two chambers on spiral side ovoid, final chambers subrectangular; first chambers spherical to ovoid on umbilical side, final chambers crenulate; ovoid in peripheral view; sutures radially curved in the first two chambers, straight on final chambers; primary aperture a low arch, extraumbilical-spiroumbilical in position, bordered by an imperforate flap; umbilicus narrow; surface of the test smooth. Loeblichella moulladei is common in the material observed; more than 50 specimens were analyzed. L. moulladei displays little variation. The number of chambers in the last whorl varies from five to six. Relict apertures are often observed on the umbilical side; specimens with spiral relict apertures were not seen.
