Taxonomy
Original description: Spiral side depressed and flat plate or bowl-shaped. It has a central disk, and the rim is bordered by an elevated beam. Umbilicus is on umbilical side large and deep. Chambers of the last whorl on the spiral side (six to seven) are similar to those of Rotalia elevata Brotzen, 1934 with only the ridge on the border missing. The umbilical side is like that of R. elevata, and is clearly related with this species.
Entries in the Catalog of original descriptions: Rotalia concavata, Globotruncana araratica, Globotruncana vridhachalensis, Globotruncana concavata cyrenaica

Dear Sirs,
I did not find Marginotruncana concavata in the search of taxons. And it is here. The references: Marginotruncana concavata accepted as Dicarinella concavata Cat. Ellis & Messina; Chronos Database; Caron 1985 p. 45; Robaszynski et al 1979 (2) p. 71; Premoli Silva & Verga 2004; Petrizzo & Premoli Silva 2011 p. 50
Hi what has happened here is that since Marginotruncana concavata is a synonym of Dicarinella concavata it does not get a separate page on this database. However, if you search for Marginotruncana concavata using the taxon search box (top right of the page) the search will take you take you to this page. I hope that helps
