Original description: Test as with genus, small size, evolute; peripheral outline subcircular, strongly lobate, five to six chambers in the last whorl; chambers in lateral view spherical to petaloid, increasing gradually in size as added, spherical in apertural view; umbilicus wide; sutures depressed and radial; relict apertures and flaps often observed.
