Taxonomy
Original description: "Umbilical Side -Primary aperture extraumbilical-umbilical. -Sutures radial, depressed. -4 to 4.5 chambers, globular, with a surface bearing pustules, more numerous on the first chambers. -Umbilicus: less than 1/4 of the maximum diameter. -Umbilical system composed of portici, well developed, sometimes free, often merging at the umbilical and/or posterior edges. Spiral Side. -Outline lobate to strongly lobate. -Sutures radial, depressed, joining the spiral sutures at right angles. -Chambers globular, with a surface bearing pustules, more developed on the first chambers of the last whorl. First whorls depressed in respect to the last whorl. -Chambers increasing very rapidly in size as added. Lateral View. -Trochospire very low, tending to planispiral. -Profile almost symmetrical; periphery broadly rounded throughout without any patterns. Size: 0.15 to 0.30 mm. Holotype: 0.30 mm."
