Original description: Test trochoid, small, oval in outline, with a lobate contour. On the dorsal side two whorls of the spire are visible, with four chambers in each that adjoin but do not overlap one another. First, early whorl on the dorsal side rises somewhat above the second, later one. Chambers increase gradually in size as added. Sutures linear, straight, deep. On the ventral side the chambers of the last whorl are visible. In the center here is a small umbilicus. Aperture a semilunate opening at the umbilical margin of the last chamber, furnished with a small lip. Wall perforate, rough, calcareous.
