Original description: Test medium-sized, plano-convex, spiral side flattened, umbilical side convex; periphery circular, lobulate; 6-7 chambers in the last whorl, increasing gradually in size as added; last chamber protruding towards the umbilicus; chambers globular on both spiral and umbilical sides, ovoid in peripheral view; sutures radial, straight, strongly depressed on both spiral and umbilical sides.

Emended description:

Test medium sized, coiled on a low trochospire; 2 to 2.5 whorls; 6 to 7 chambers in the outer whorl increasing gradually and slowly in size as added; chambers globular to subglobular, inflated, the last two or three tending to become subtriangualr on the umbilical side, subtrapezoidal on the spiral side, slightly reniform in lateral view; the last one protruding toward the umbilical area; equatorial periphery subcircular to ovoid, slightly lobate; sutures depressed, radial to slightly curved; umbilical area small and rather deep; aperture as a low to medium arch bordered by a lip. Wall smooth, finely perforate, that may be covered by perforation cones in the early chambers of the last whorl. [copied from Chronos database]
