Marginotruncana renzi

Taxonomy

Original description: Forma intermedia tra la G. apenninica Renz e la G. linnei (d'Orbigny); giri interni bicarenati o con una callosita che prelude alia doppia carena, giro esterno unicarenato. Il listello carenale e generalmente piu larga e basso che nella G. apenninica, talvolta pustuloso; decorre un po' obliquo e ondulato. La parte ombelicale ha un largo ombelico, le camere sono piu o meno convesse, piuttosto allungate come nella G. linnei. Ogni camera e rigorosamente orlata dalla biforcazione inferiore del listello carenale, che a decorso un po'sigmoidale s'ispessisce attorno all'ombelico. Da notare che le carene interne hanno un doppio listello carenale piu o meno riavvicinato, spesso solo visibile in sezione, ma talvolta anche all'estemo al principio dell 'ultimo giro.
