Original description: Diagnosis, - Test low trochospiral, nearly flat on spiral side, covered with coarse oriented pustulae, especially on first chambers on the last whorl. The ultimate chamber is smooth. Chambers globular, 5 to 5 and one-half in final whorl, increasing gradually in size, the last chamber increasing very rapidly, giving the test its specific appearance. Umbilicus wide. Primary aperture interiomarginal, umbilical to extraumbilical, bordered by an apertural flap. Greatest diameter of holotype 400 microns, of topotypes 350 microns.
