Original description: "Test very low trochospiral, nearly planispiral in appearance, slightly depressed spirally, outline ovate, equatorial periphery strongly lobulate. Wall strongly hispid and finely perforate. Chambers 5 to 6 1/2 in the final whorl, increasing gradually in size, inflated, spherical to subspherical; about two whorls. Sutures almost radial, depressed both spirally and umbilically. Umbilicus wide and shallow. Primary aperture a low arch, interiomarginal, umbilical-extraumbilical, extending halfway onto the equatorial periphery, with a broad lip extending into the umbilicus if well preserved. Greatest diameter is about 0.22 mm."
