Original description: DIAGNOSE : L'espèce se caractérise par son test fortement comprimé au contour lobé. Les loges, au nombre de 5 au dernier tour, sont assez allongées radialement et s'accroissent rapidement en taille. L'ombilic est très étroit et le profil presque symétrique.

DESCRIPTION : Enroulement trochospiralé comprenant environ 2 tours 1/2. Test faiblement biconvexe, nettement comprimé latéralement. Loges de forme ovale ou spatulée, au nombre de 5 au dernier tour, s'accroissant assez rapidement. Ouverture primaire intériomarginale ombilicale-extraombilicale-périphérique, bordée par une lévre assez marquée. Ombilic trés étroit. Sutures radiales et déprimées. L'angle de raccordement entre les faces dorsale et ventrale est assez aigu, mais il n'y a pas de caréne et le bord périphérique est arrondi, tout au plus souligné par une concentration de pustules.

Diagnosis: The species is characterized by its strongly compressed test and its lobate outline. The chambers, numbering 5 in the last whorl, are radially elongate and increase rapidly in size. The umbilicus is very narrow and the profile almost symmetrical.

Description. Trochospiral mode of coiling, comprising about 2 whorls and a half. Weakly biconvex, clearly compressed. Chambers oval or spatulate in shape, numbering 5 in the last whorl, increasing quite rapidly in size. Primary aperture interiomarginal , umbilical-extraumbilical -peripheral in position, bordered by a fairly noticeable lip. Umbilicus very narrow. Sutures radial and depressed. The dorsal and ventral sides converge in an acute angle, but there is no keel and the peripheral edge is rounded, at best marked by a concentration of pustules.
