Original description: Test wall microperforate, circular pores 0.3 to 0.7 um, surface with weakly developed and randomly scattered perforation cones, small pustules may occur in the umbilical region. Test small, globular with early hedbergellid stage, overall diameter/width ratio averaging 1.14; chambers increasing gradually to moderately in size, 11 to 13 coiled in a variable trochospire, 4.5 to 5.0 subglobular chambers in the initial whorl and three to four globular chambers in the final whorl; sutures are depressed, straight to slightly curved; aperture is a low to moderate, semicircular interiomarginal arch at the base of the final chamber, without periapertural structures.
