Original description: Test planispiral, bi-evolute, microperforate, periphery of chambers not rounded as in Globigerinelloides but subangular, with a distinct break in the peripheral round, better marked on the first chambers of the last whorl by a concentration of perforation cones giving it a peripheral pseudo-keel.
