Original Description

Skelet besteht aus mehreren (4-6) concentrischen, durch radiale Stacheln verbundenen Gitterkugeln, von denen nur die innerste, die kugelige Centralkapsel einschliefsende, regulär sechseckige und gleiche Maschen besitzt, während die übrigen aus ungleichen und unregelmäfsigen polygonalen Maschen zusammengesetzt sind.


Translation:
Shell composed of many (4-6) latticed spheres which are united by radial spines, and from which only the inner one, containing the globular central capsule, has regular, uniform, hexagonal pores, when the other ones are composed of irregular meshes of different size.
