Primär- und polyedrische Tertiärschale genau wie bei Astrosphaera. Dazu tritt aber ein spongiöses Netzwerk, das zwischen den beiden Schalen oder außerhalb der Tertiärschale von Haupt- und Nebenstacheln oder von letzteren allein gebildet wird.
