Original Description Shell ellipsoidal, smooth, without external sagittal stricture, but with an internal free sagittal ring. Pores small and numerous, regular, circular. No larger annular pores. Basal plate with nine pores, three larger interradial alternating with three pairs of adradial.
Shell 0.07 long, 0.11 broad. [dimensions in mm] Editors' Notes There was no illustration of this species in Haeckel (1887) Haeckel listed Dictyospyris enneastoma under the subgeneric name Dictyospyromma, but did not include the subgeneric name in the species name.
