Original Description
[The spines on the equatorial plane of the lenticular shell irregularly distributed, conical, very often branched, and often as long as 1/5 of the long axis of the cortical shell. Cortical shell 2 ½ times as large as the medullary shell, round irregular pores, the big ones as large as 1/18 of the diameter of the shell, the small ones 1/50. (Translation from German by J.P.C.)]
Cortical shell 170µm, medullary shell 70µm, big pores from 3 to 10µm, length of spines 40µm.
