Original Description

[Short stout shell divided in 4 segments by 3 strictures; first segment button-shaped, half as long as the second segment, second segment bell-shaped, third segment barrel-shaped, 1½ as long as the second, broadening so much that it has the maximum width of the shell, closing down around an aperture with a short peristome. Ratio of the width on the 3rd segment to the total length as 6/7/ Uniform circular pores as large as 1/24 of the maximum width, regularly distributed in alternating longitudinal rows. Bars somewhat wider. (In German. Translated by J.P.C.)]

Total length 93µm, maximum width 80µm. Length of the segment from the top down: 13, 27, 40µm; length of the cylindrical peristome 12µm. Pores 3µm, bars 4µm.
[As the peristome somewhat broken has no pores, it is not quite possible that this species could be placed with Dictyomitra; as the shell is, however, narrowing down, I have placed this species in the genus Lithocampe.]
