Editors' Notes
[Description: The asterisk following the generic name indicates that Haeckel believed this to be a new genus in 1881a. Haeckel's placing the name Cecryphalium at the end of line AII appears to be an error, but the problem thus created may be resolved by regarding Lophocorys as a subgenus of Cecryphalium. Haeckel mistakenly uses the same number for two genera, Lophocorys and Theosyringium.]
