Extra details from original publication
[By referring back to p.429 of his Prodromus and stating above ""Peridium or Archiperidium" Haeckel obviously means Peridium to be an emendation of the name Archiperidium, which is unjustified according to the ICZN (1961) art. 33a. Peridium is thus a junior objective synonym of Archiperidium Haeckel 1881a.
Description: The ""two following nearly allied genera"" refers to Archipera and Archibursa; the ""four preceding genera"" refers to Euscenium, Cladoscenium, Archiscenium, and Pteroscenium in Haeckel, 1887a.]
