Original Description

Schale einfach, aus Kopf und allmählich anschließendem Thorax bestehend. Radiäre Anhänge, z. B. Stacheln, nicht vorhanden. Auch fehlt das bei vielen Sethoconus - Arten vorhandene Collarseptum. Der Kopf ist (wohl nur bei jugendlichen Stadien) oben offen und auf der einen Hälfte in eine lange gegitterte Spitze ausgezogen. Der Kopf geht allmählich in den weiten flach konisch ausgebreiteten Thorax über, der an der Mündung weit geöffnet ist. Kopf und Thorax sind mit unregelmäßig runden Poren versehen, die gegen den Thoraxrand etwas größer werden.
Die beiden zur Beobachtung gelangten Stücke waren jedenfalls noch nicht mit dem Skelettbau fertig. da der untere Thoraxrand unregelmäßige, kurze Zähnchen trug. Wahrscheinlich wird auch später der Kopf abgeschlossen, wie das Jørgensen für seinen Androcyclas gamphonychia beschreibt.

Neck diameter 26µm, Cephalis length from the basis of the horn to the neck 33µm, length of three-sided end of cephalis 30µm; maximum width of thorax in adult forms 100µm.
