Описание. Очертания как торакса, так и абдомена стабилизированные: торакс в нижней части вздутый, отделенный пережимом от абдомена, в верхней части — конический, плавно переходящий в куполовидный цефалис. Апикальный рог длинный, без ребер, у основания почти не расширенный. Вертикальный рог обычно не развит. На тораксе 14—20 продольных рядов пор на половине окружности, по 7—9 пор в ряду. Поры округлые, внизу несколько крупнее, чем около цефалиса, часто с гексагональным обрамлением; стенки утолщенные. Абдомен без пережимов, цилиндрический или бочонковидный; обычно он несколько уже торакса. Устье открытое, не оформленное. Поры на абдомене, как правило, чуть мельче, чем на тораксе, расположение их варьирует. Стенки абдомена тоньше, чем стенки торакса, при этом они почти гладкие. Длина цефалиса +торакса 122—145 мкм, наибольшая ширина торакса 122—130, длина абдомена 114 (и более) мкм, ширина — 95—115 мкм.
Распространение. Эоцен: Норвежское море.
Примечание. Отличается относительно более широким тораксом, большими размерами и утолщенными стенками торакса с гексагональным обрамлением пор от Th. barbadense, близкого, судя по описанию, к рассматриваемому виду по остальным признакам. Впрочем, у Th. barbadense боковые доли цефалиса, вероятно, более высокие и достигают более х/2 высоты цефалиса, в то время как у Th. andriashevi — менее 1/3. От Th. litos описываемый вид отличается большими размерами, стабильной формой раковинки и некоторыми другими деталями.
Название — в честь советского биолога и океанолога члена-корреспондента АН СССР Анатолия Петровича Андрияшева.
Кроме Th. andriashevi и Th. litos встречено большое число весьма разнообразных видов Theocyrtis, нуждающихся в специальном исследовании.

Material. 28 specimens from sample 339-12-3. The holotype from the same specimen is kept (No 68534) at the Marine Research Laboratory of ZIN.
Description. The outlines of both the thorax and the abdomen are stabilized: the thorax is swollen in the lower part, separated from the abdomen by a constriction, and conical in the upper part, smoothly turning into a dome-shaped cephalis. Apical horn long, without ribs, almost not widened at base. The vertical horn is usually not developed. Thorax with 14-20 longitudinal rows of pores on half of circumference, 7-9 pores per row. The pores are rounded, somewhat larger below than near the cephalis, often with a hexagonal frame; thickened walls. Abdomen without constrictions, cylindrical or barrel-shaped; usually it is somewhat narrower than the thorax. The mouth is open, not formed. The pores on the abdomen, as a rule, are slightly smaller than on the thorax, their location varies. The walls of the abdomen are thinner than the walls of the thorax, while they are almost smooth. The length of the cephalis + thorax is 122–145 µm, the maximum width of the thorax is 122–130 µm, the length of the abdomen is 114 (or more) µm, and the width is 95–115 µm.
Distribution. Eocene: Norwegian Sea.
Note. Differs from Th. barbadense in a relatively wider thorax, larger size, and thicker thorax walls with hexagonal framing of pores. Close, judging by the description, to the considered species in terms of other features. However, Th. barbadense the lateral lobes of the cephalis are probably higher and reach more than 1/2 the height of the cephalis, while in Th. andriashevi - less than 1/3. From Th. litos, the described species is distinguished by its large size, stable shell shape, and some other details.
The name is in honor of the Soviet biologist and oceanologist, Corresponding Member of the USSR Academy of Sciences Anatoly Petrovich Andriyashev.
In addition to Th. andriashevi and Th. litos, a large number of very diverse species of Theocyrtis were found, requiring special study.
