Original description: Polycystinum solitarium ex Eucyrtidinis. Loricae siliceae cylindricae articulatae cellulosae alter finis (inferior) late apertus, alter sublobatus. Cellulae lobulares in uvae brevis spiraeve formam dispositae. Articuli ultra duo.
Saracenarias siliceas sed inversas referunt. Lithobotrys et Botryocampe altero fine clauso graviter differunt. Aequali modo Lithocampe et Eucyrtidium. distinguntur.
Translated description: Solitary polycystin, of the Eucyrtidinae. Shell siliceous, cylindrical, segmented, porous, one end (inferior end) widely open, the other sublobate. Small lobate chambers arranged in the form of a short cluster of grapes, or spirally. 2 other segments.
They resemble siliceous but inverted Saracenarias. translation doubtful]. Lithobotrys and Botryocampe differ strongly in having the other end closed. In a similar way, Lithocampe and Eucyrtidium differ. (Translated from Latin by E.M.R. and W.R.R.)]
