Catalog entries: Carpocanopsis cingulatum
Original description: Cephalis obtusely cap-shaped, not separated from the thorax by an external collar structure. Thorax barrel-shaped, thick-walled (smaller and somewhat thinner in early specimens), with smooth surface and circular pores longitudinally aligned. Abdomen inverted truncate-conical, not distinguished in external contour from distal part of thorax, with rounded pores irregular in shape and arrangement. The termination of the abdomen is corroded in most specimens, but in a few is observed to consist of short, irregular, lamellar teeth.
