Catalog entries: Collosphaera confossa
Original description: Shell single lattice, thin walled, smooth, spherical to slightly crumpled, with numerous circular to subcircular pores of variable size. Width of the interporous septa is about the same as average pore diameter. Number of pores is about 23 on the half perimeter of the shell and twice as many as that of C. huxleyi.
