Catalog entries: Cromyomma riedeli
Original description: Shell consists of four concentric spheres: one outer shell and three inner ones. Outer shell rather large, thin-walled, and with irregular pores that vary in size and shape like a patch-work of pores. The shell bears 8-10 short, thick, weakly three-bladed proximally conical spines. The first inner shell very small, spherical; secondary inner shell small, spherical with rather large subcircular pores; third inner shell, thin-walled, with numerous small circular pores regularly arranged in size and form. The outer shell is connected with the third inner shell by the same number of radial beams as radial spines.
Remarks on original description: The examined species are identified by having four concentric latticed shell and many similar radial spines.
