Original description: Shell large, fairly wide, dome-shaped, and smoothsurfaced or slightly tuberculate, with a slender rodlike apical horn and 7-10 slender basal feet. Shell divided by a median vertical constriction; the pores small, circular to subcircular, irregular in size and arrangement. Internally the basal structure is rather delicate, and has six basal pores.
