Original description: C. lorica oblonga recta, fronte truncata media constricta postrema parte late rotundata, ocellis sparsis. An Litbobotrys? Diam. 1/32"’.
E Charactere generis forma curn nunc eliminari debet.
[Cornutella? obtusa: Cornutella with a straight, rather long shell; anterior truncated; middle constricted; posterior part broadly rounded; pores sparse. Related to Lithobotrys? Diam. 70 µ.

Species name. Differs at head of descriptive text (p. 77) and in chart (p. 63). In the former the question mark follows the generic name and in the latter it precedes the specific name.
