Original description: Shell of three segments; cephalis subspherical. penetrated by numerous small pores with polygonal pore frames, bearing two horns, an apical and a vertical. The horns are of the same length, stout and triangular in section. Collar stricture rather distinct externally, internally with four collar pores. Cephalic structure has A, V, MB, two L and D. Two L and D extend as ribs to stout lateral wings originating at the collar region. Thorax conical or subhemispherical, penetrated by many circular pores regularly arranged with hexagonal pore frames. Three solid lateral wings extend from the lowermost part of the thorax. Abdomen short, cylindrical and smooth-surfaced with remarkably large pores often arranged in transverse rows.
