Original description: [2-segmented, pyriform, smooth; cephalis campanulate, large and unarmed, with pores in approximately longitudinal rows. Second segment constricted at each end, globosely swollen medianly) with the terminal aperture narrow and with a sub-even margin. Surface provided with widely separated transverse rows of pores. (Translated from Latin by E.M.R. and W.R.R.)]
Total length 94µm, of cephalis 37µm, of second segment 56µm. 3-4 pores in 23µm. Distinguishing characters (rw): This is a non-costate species related to Eucyrtidium mongolfieri.
