[Shell as a simple spiral, originating from a very small, somewhat spherical medullary shell. Three to four spiral rows in a single plan. Medullary shell simple, not trizonal, "Larnacilla-like". Shell slightly longer than wide. Spiral rows progressively increasing in size. Spires, not always regular, linked by numerous radial beams of variable width and T-shaped. These radial beams are extended above the surface of the shell as approximately fifty external radial spines. These spines are almost as long as the shell radius, or shorter, often of variable breadth and needle-shaped. Pores irregularly circular, of very variable size. (In German. Translation by J.P.C.)]
