Original description: Lorica subtilissime porosa, 4 poris majoribus ad finem posteriorem ( ?) stellatim approximatis, anteriore (?) fine crista obtusa superato. Forma fere Galeae. Diam. 1/37"'.
[Lithobotrys with very finely porous shell; 4 larger pores towards the posterior (?) end, approximately stellately arranged; anterior (?) end surmounted by an obtuse crest. Form related to galea. Diameter 60m. (Translation from Latin by E.M.R. and W.R.R.) ]
Remarks on original description: [This species is questionably synonymized with Botryocella (?) apenninica Vinassa by Petrushevskaya, 1975c]
