Original description: Shell bell-shaped with wide, conical or campanulate thorax; apical horn fairly short, about 0.2 total length, generally spear- or spikelike, conical, circular in cross section, with sharp tip; cephalis subhemispherical with its base very much wider than its altitude, separated from the thorax mainly by slight change in contour, practically no stricture, only 0.5 as long as the horn; thorax elongate-truncate conical (approximately 35°), with apical truncation, sides somewhat different, a little convex, tending to become semicylindrical in the apertural 0.25; apertural margin irregular, not toothed; cephalis hyaline or at the most with a few, scattered, tiny pores; thorax with over a hundred, fairly uniform, scattered, elongate-ovate, minutely double-contoured, well-spaced pores; framework not especially dense; wall thin, thinnest in lower thorax.
Length of shell, 98.0µm; of horn, 21.0µm; of cephalis, 12.2µm; breadth of base of cephalis, 21.0µm; of aperture, 40.8µm; diameter of pores, about 8.8µm, or less.
