Original description: Shell of three segments; cephalis small subspherical, thick-walled, with small pores with pore frames, bearing a rather long, stout and rod-like apical horn. Collar stricture with four collar pores internally, well defined externally. Cephalic structure has A, V, MB, two L and D; V rises upward at a high angle, two l are incorporated into the septal ring and the two L and D are not connected to the terminal feet. Thorax subhemispherical, pores frequently with hexagonal frames. The surface slightly roughened with pointed nodes, often bearing very short conical lateral wings. Abdomen pyramidal, rather thin-walled, with irregularly arranged circular pores larger than those of thorax. From the abdomen extend three solid cylindrical, conical lateral feet; termination ragged.
