Original description: [2-segmented, slightly rough; cephalis globose, very broad, armed at the apex with many small spinules, and with longi-tudinal non-contiguous rows of pores. Second segment separated by a stricture, slightly narrower than the first, irregularly truncate posteriorly, with equal pores. Length with spinules 90 µ, of slender spinules (5) 8 µ, of cephalis 56 µ. Breadth of cephalis 59 µ. (Translated from Latin by E.M.R. and W.R.R.)]
