Original description: [Smooth, with subglobose cephalis having a strong frontal spine (missing), with a decurrent median rib. Second segment urceolate, its surface without pores, almost entire, very rarely perforated by a few pores; aperture contracted; with two strong appendages (or 3?) slightly divergent. Length without spines 75 µ, maximum breadth 56 µ, diameter of cephalis 23 µ, length of appendage 56 µ. (Translated from Latin by E.M.R. and W.R.R.)]
