Original description: [Smooth; small subglobose cephalis, with a small frontal horn, with a decurrent median rib, and with porous surface. Second segment swollen, urceolate, the pores of its surface unequal, quincuncially arranged, with four divergent, flexuose, thick appendages. Length without spines 84 µ, maximum breadth 72 µ, diameter of cephalis 20 µ. Length of appendage 72 µ. Approximately 3 distinct pores in 23 µ. (Translated from Latin by E.M.R. and W.R.R.)]
