Original description: Shell large, thick-walled, of two segments; cephalis subspherical with numerous small pores, bearing a fairly stout conical rod-like apical horn. Collar stricture distinct externally, with three large and two small collar pores internally, and cephalis with stout septal ring slightly hanging down into thorax. Cephalic structure has A, MB, two L, two l and D; two l extend obliquely upward at a high angle laterally. Thorax campanulate with smooth surface and with numerous small polygonal pores, with three slightly developed ribs on the thorax and upper part of feet. Three feet, elongated conical, fairly stout, latticed proximally. The thoracic aperture is triangular.
Remarks on original description: The following species is assigned with great hesitation to this genus because of possessing different cephalic structures than the other species of the genus.
